Q. How ‘mod-able’ will the Renwerx game be?
A. The game is being designed with mod makers in mind. Scripters will be excited by the options available. Expect to see plenty of documentation and support from the development team after the game is released.

Q. What resources will people need if they wish to make maps for the game?
A. For server-side maps, all you will need is a copy of the game. For client-side maps, you will also need a good level design program such as Torque Constructor, Radiant or Quark. You will not need to buy a copy of Torque Shader Engine (TSE) to make maps.

Q. Will each team in the game have different skins?
A. There will be faction based skins for armors and game assets.

Q. Will it be possible for map-makers (or server administrators) to designate the minimum / maximum number of people per map, and have the maps be added / removed to the map rotation dynamically?
A. Level designers can specify recommended player counts that server operators can implement to alter map rotations based on player counts. There will also be other filter rules.

Q. Will RenWerX provide "base" skins to the public to make basic skinning easier? Would these be provided in game format or in a format native to Photoshop (or another graphics application)?
A. We will be releasing default skin templates in the games official SDK, and they will be in a common file format (.TGA) that almost any paint program can open.

Q. Will _________ mod be developed for Ascension?
A. Currently, there are six mods that will be released with Ascension: Renegades, GTW, TAC, Meltdown, Annihilation, and Anarchy. When it comes to expanding this list, we are all for it. However, RenWerX does not actively pursue teams to develop mods for Ascension. If a mod is interested in joining the team, they are welcome to submit an application.
